Bioflex Low Intensity Laser Therapy
"It represents a quantum leap in medicine. It's a change from the standard medical models of drugs and surgery, where you are basically either poisoning or cutting the patient." --Harry T. Whelan, M.D., professor of neurology at the Medical College of Wisconsin and a leading researcher in the field..
"What can you do if you’ve tried every conceivable way to relieve pain? You’ve been treated by anti-inflammatory drugs, cortisone, painkillers, physiotherapy, massage and finally, surgery. Yet the pain continues unabated. A technique, known as Low Intensity Laser Therapy (LILT) could be the answer.“ --Dr. Gifford Jones MD, Syndicated Medical Journalist
Just what is it?
Our Bioflex laser is low intensity laser therapy [LILT]. Bioflex uses light energy to penetrate deep into your problem area, directly stimulating the cells and tissues to heal themselves. In essence, light energy is converted into biochemical energy. The result - normal cell morphology and function are restored. Not only does Bioflex modulate pain, Bioflex heals the damaged tissues. That is a bold statement, indeed! However, international research continues to show that very outcome.
Not all lasers are created equally!
The Bioflex laser that we're currently using was designed and researched by Dr. Fred Kahn, MD, a vascular surgeon from Toronto, Ontario. Prior to introducing the Bioflex Light Therapy, our office used one of the typical laser therapy machine widely available. Though positive results were found, results were not consistently reproducible--in our office nor in the research being done. The Bioflex, however, has been consistently producing positive results on a variety of ailments. Bioflex's unique system of three different wave lengths of light combined with treatment times ranging from 30 to 60 minutes properly stimulates the tissues to allow for healing. Scientific research solidly supports the Bioflex system.
