NCRC…Who We Are and Why We're Different
First of all, we specialize. We deal with muscles and bones and keeping the body moving without pain. Throughout the day we hear people say, "I didn't know a chiropractor could treat that!" Though our roots are in chiropractic, we find ourselves constantly evolving as we increased care from acute pain relief to rehabilitation and injury prevention. Much of our day is spent using techniques in addition to adjusting as we relieve carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar faciitis , and golfers' and runners' symptoms. We strive to provide the best combination of treatments and therapies available for our patients. At NCRC, each person receives a treatment plan tailored to their individual needs. And that plan is fluid, flexible and dependent on patient outcomes.
NCRC is dedicated to helping you feel relief from pain and then to fixing what's wrong. We begin with the treatment of acute pain by releasing scar tissue and relieving inflammation. We then may use biomechanics to diagnose what is causing the muscle imbalance and injury. To correct future pain, we then may strengthen the muscles that have been chronically sore though our Physical Therapy/Rehabilitation department.
Some of these techniques and treatments we utilize to provide you with the best possible treatments are:
Active Release Technique - the gold standard in soft tissue treatment
Graston Technique - instrument utilizing soft tissue treatment originally developed by athletes
Low Intensity Light Therapy - cold laser...simply amazing!
MedX - the gold standard worldwide leader in spinal strengthening
Axial Decompression - traction to help alleviate back pain and stress on spinal discs
Physiotherapies - EMS and ultrasound
Biomechanical Analysis - the study of the body in motion
Performance Enhancement - biomechanical analysis of you performing your sport followed by prescribed exercise to help you improve your skills and athletic performance
Physical Therapy - Provided in our state-of-the-art 2300 sq. ft. PT department
At NCRC we insist that the treatments that we use are scientifically sound, proven through controlled studies to provide relief of pain.
